The optimum mounting position for a coolant header tank is as high as possible in the car. This tank is custom-designed to fit the unique contours of the SL-C, and mounts as high as possible in the car. The mounting position makes it easy to add coolant without spilling, and the correct spacers and insulation keep excess heat away from the firewall and interior.
