Want to add a bit of excitement to your SL-C? Electrically opened and closed doors are one way to start. This kit allows you to open and close your SL-C’s doors with just a touch of a button. Can be controlled by button switches you add anywhere in the car, as well as using buttons on the Infinitybox keyfob. This is a sure way to add to the wow factor at a car show when you roll up and have the doors swing open remotely!

You get a clean look on the doors, as the original Miata door handles are not needed, so the recess for them on the exterior of the doors can be filled in. Likewise, there is no need for inner door handles and their complicated linkage, allowing you more flexibility in terms of inner door panel design.

Finally, the use of electric doors solves a problem with the SL-C, which is that if you use the standard door handles, you’ll need to fabricate locks so the car can be locked while you are away from it. These electric doors hold the door firmly shut and no normal amount of force can open them.

The kit includes the custom parts you need, with a parts list of off-the-shelf parts you need to acquire.

Requires some knowledge of wiring. Note that this kit is sold with a set of instructions, but that there is no after-sale support. It’s assumed you have good mechanical skills and can install such a kit.
