The Brembo race package shares virtually nothing with the street Brembos. Although the manufacturer is the same, these brakes are not a production car brake system, but are true race brakes with all the benefits and drawbacks of such a system. They have a different caliper architecture, and different rotors.
The optional package includes large 6-piston calipers, two-piece rotors and hats, and appropriate brakes lines. Because these are competition brakes, they don't have dust seals which makes them largely unsuitable for street use and should only be used on cars that will see severe duty on track.
