Overview

For a couple of years, the cars have been shipping with a 3-pedal set in forged aluminum from Tilton.  This is a great pedal set, suitable for street or competition, and is very well-engineered, as one would expect from Tilton.

The pedals can be adjusted so that the brake/accelerator pedals are optimized for heel-and-toe work, and both the throttle and clutch pedals have adjustable stops, to prevent over-running the clutch fork in the Porsche transaxles.

The pedal set can be enhanced by a user-built dead pedal (a pedal that is used only to brace the left foot when cornering), as shown in the picture below, fabricated by a builder in Canada (Ken):

The pedals can be mounted directly to the floor as shown in the picture above, or can be mounted to a sliding adapter available from Superlite that allows the pedals to be adjusted fore and aft for better fit with different drivers.

One builder has modified the Superlite sliding pedal setup to be operated with a linear actuator, which is a very cool mod. See the details starting here.

Note that the pedals ship with slip-resistant covers.  These are easily replaceable when worn, and can just be peeled off when they need to be replaced. Some builders have made custom pedal covers as well. It is also possible to order the car with an optional extended footbox, which permits the pedals to be mounted even farther forward so that very long-legged drivers can have plenty of room.
